DIY: A Pair of Precious Blue Brown Agate Earrings!

Όπως υποσχέθηκα στη χθεσινή ανάρτηση, σήμερα έχω για σας ένα DIY πρότζεκτ. Είναι ένα εξαιρετικά εύκολο ζευγάρι σκουλαρίκια που μπορείτε να φτιάξετε σε λιγότερο από 10 λεπτά! (μπορεί να λέω και πολλά)

As promissed on yesterday's post, today I'm showing a DIY project. It's a super easy pair of earrings you can make in less than 10 minutes!

Θα χρειαστείτε:

4 αχάτες σε σχήμα ρόμβου

2 κουμπώματα για σκουλαρίκια (τα δικά μου είναι επιχρυσωμένο ασήμι)

2 γράνες μακριές

4 ροζέτες σε δύο διαφορετικά μεγέθη

πένσα με στρογγυλή μύτη

Here's what you 'll need:

4 agate stones rhombus shaped

2 earring clasps (I used gold plated sterling silver ones)

2 long garnets

4 rosettes of two different sizes

Δεν νομίζω πως χρειάζεται να πω πολλά. Οι εικόνες μιλούν από μόνες τους. Παίρνετε την πρώτη γράνα περνάτε τον αχάτη, στη συνέχεια 1 από τις μεγάλες ροζέτες, μετά τον δεύτερο αχάτη και μια ακόμη μικρότερη ροζέτα. Για να ολοκληρώσετε κάνετε θηλιά στη γράνα με την πένσα σας, περνάτε το κούμπωμα και βουαλά το πρώτο σκουλαρίκι είναι έτοιμο. Επαναλάβετε με το άλλο κομμάτι σας και σε λιγότερο από 10 λεπτά έχετε ένα όμορφο μα και πολύτιμο ζευγάρι σκουλαρίκια με λιγότερο από €10!!! 

There's no need to say much. I think the pictures speak for themselves. You take the first garnet pass your agate stone, then 1 of the larger rosettes, then the other agate stone and one more smaller rosette. To finish make a loop with your round pliers and pass your clasp. Repeat with your other piece and in less than 10 minutes you have a beautiful pair of precious earrings!!! A precious pair of earrings costing less than 10 euros!!!

Good morning!
Hope you had a very merry Christmas, spent it close to your loved ones, ate a delicious turkey or in our case the traditional pilafi, had fun and of course I wish you to continue having fun during the weekend.
To not stray from this entire festive mood, today I am showing you a pair of earrings that except for their boho look have a flash of luxury as suited to these festive days!

Purple Rain!

Having in mind this DIY project I showed you back in October, I made a pair of long pink-purple earrings to style with a white evening dress. I totally love the purple rain drop shaped beads in the end and as we speak I'm singing Prince's song "Purple Rain"!

Accessorizing with Black and Orange!

How have you been? Hope you enjoyed the past weekend and have filled your batteries for this week as it goes by.

Today I 'm showing you the black edition of the long tassel earrings I made for my recent collection. Black and orange are my main colors of this pair combined with a bit of yellow and turquoise. So anxious to hear what you think of them!

I would wear these beauties with the Mikael Dress and go for a total orange look, combining the French Connection high heels and the Orange Tod's Clutch or with the Clotheshead Black Poppy Dress with a pair of Prada loafers and a Farfetch Fringe clutch!!!!

Which combination would you prefer? The total orange look or the black and orange one?

DIY: A Pair of Triangle Earrings!

Geometry was one of my favorite lessons in high school. And I always seem to be drivven by triangle and round shapes. That's why I love triangle earrings. Like these designs below!

Last season I found two pairs of triangle shaped elements in a store. I knew I wanted to make a pair of earrings but I just needed some inspiration to do something unique. And it came to me when finding some spare gold and black beads in my studio.

This is what I made

They kind of remind me of Dolce & Gabbana style!

Now lets go see how to make them,

You will need:

6 pieces of brass wire
6 small jump rings
2 larger jump rings
2 earring clasps
2 black beads
2 gold beads
2 black flower beads
2 black and gold triangle elements

Take your pliers and do as shown in my previous DIY post.

Super easy. First you make loops with your wires and pass the beads.

When finishing with all of your beads begin by passing the larger jump rings through the triangle elements. Then join each bead with your smaller jump rings.

Et voila!

I didn't put my beads in an ordinary line. I mixed them up a bit. Just to be a little less ordinary.

Looong Red Tassel Earrings!

Hallo again! Hope you had a fabulous Monday and wish your week is going great.

Today I'm going to show you one more piece of my new jewelry collection which is entirely inspired by my lovely island Crete.

Tassel earrings are really in fashion these days so I decided to make a few pairs in various colors. My first pair is red combined with tiny turqoise stones and red, white and blue beads made of plasticine. I got little creative when taking the pictures(instagram is keeping me inspired).

 I put a red sephora lip crayon, a red nail polish by Korres and spiced up the photo by adding a bit of green with an avocado from our garden.

 I also used my favorite sheepskin rug (by the way I found a beautiful sheepskin rug at One Kings Lane for $89. Go check it out here).

I visualize wearing these earrings with a long turquiose dress, red shoes and a red and white bag.

And I believe they are a unique pair for these two beauties!

Why you can even wear them with a white, black or even red dress.

Weekend Makings: The Koutali Project!

Good evening! Wishing you a fabulous week ahead!

Those of you who follow me on instagram probably recognize these creations I made last week and just as we speak are on a shelf at KURKUTA or perhaps on a lady's neck or ears. They were made with great care and for the first time I dared to combine spoons with stones. The result is impressive I think and I will certainly make more of these beauties. Furthermore with one spoon a day maybe the crisis goes away! I wish !!!!!

Όσοι με παρακολουθείτε στο instagram ίσως αναγνωρίσετε τις παρακάτω δημιουργίες που είναι προϊόν της περασμένης εβδομάδας και αυτή τη στιγμή που μιλάμε στολίζουν κάποιο ράφι στα KURKUTA ή ίσως το λαιμό και τα αυτιά κάποιας κυρίας/κυριών. Φτιάχτηκαν με πολύ μεράκι ενώ για πρώτη φορά τόλμησα σε κολιέ το συνδυασμό κουταλιού με πέτρες. Το αποτέλεσμα είναι εντυπωσιακότατο και σίγουρα θα ακολουθήσουν και άλλα παρόμοια σχέδια. Εξάλλου ένα κουτάλι την ημέρα ίσως την κρίση κάνει πέρα! I wish!!!!!
